WELCOME TO THE UCS BARCODING SITE
Important Note: Due to changes in the UCS system,
all users (including those who participated in 2011), must create a new account before beginning to input their materials. Choose "Create Account" from the menu at the top of this page to get started.
*** PLEASE NOTE ***
- Updated List! Items Not Accepted for Sale
- Magazines (individual or bundled)
- Encyclopedias published prior to 2000
- College textbooks
- Books with themes on witchcraft, sorcery, or the wiccan religion--fiction or non-fiction
- Glass items or items with glass pieces or parts
- Perishable items
- Stuffed animals, dolls, or toys
- Items rated R and above (please use discretion with materials rated PG-13)
These items have either been found not to sell well, are considered hazardous in the context of the sale, or conflict with HEAV’s Statement of Purpose.
- Nature of Materials - Since it is impossible for HEAV to preview every item submitted to the UCS, please review your materials and do not include items that may be offensive to our primarily Christian attendees.
- Online Barcoding - UCS registration will only be available through the automated barcoding system. No handwritten labels will be accepted. Barcoding is done online; you will be able to automatically print your labels and master sheet. Those who have used the online system in the past know what a timesaver it is!
- System Closing - In preparation for the sale,
the online barcoding system will close on Wednesday, June 6, at 4 p.m.; you will not be able to make any additions or modifications to your account after that time. Please plan your preparations for the UCS accordingly.
- Master Sheet - All sellers must bring a hard copy of their master sheet when they come to drop off their books, or their items will NOT be accepted.
- Minimum Price - Please remember there is a minimum price policy of $1 on Friday and $0.75 on Saturday.
- “Pick-up” or “Donate” -
Please pay attention to the “Pick-up” or “Donate” indication on the labels. The difference between an item
to be picked up or donated will be indicated by the presence or absence of a check mark in the appropriate field. If your
printer
does not print the check mark correctly, the item may be wrongly designated for donation!
